Digital Markets Act: Unlocking the Potential of Interoperability for Developers and Consumers
Date: January 25, 2024
Time: 9:00 – 11:00 am CET
Place: Press Club Brussels Europe & Online
Address: Rue Froissart 95, 1040 Bruxelles, Belgium
Developers Alliance proposes a conversation about opportunities and challenges for the app economy driven by the implementation of the DMA.
The DMA contains several provisions supporting more openness and interoperability for app developers. For example, it imposes obligations on designated ‘gatekeepers’ that, among others, grant developers access to operating system software and hardware features. Moreover, the end users’ experience with installing and uninstalling applications should be easier.
The event proposes to delve into practical aspects of the DMA and explore the potential real-world applications of these new rules.
