Startup Snapshot, Summer 2017
Survey of over 100 startups that joined the Alliance over 18 months
Startups are invited and encouraged to join the Developers Alliance and become members of the Innovators Policy Council (IPC). The IPC provides companies of every size, interest, and industry a voice in policy discussions and access to policymakers at every level of government. The IPC is a global network of companies, startups, and innovators where member companies have the benefit of advocacy without the burden of valuable time or resources.
As a condition of membership, we ask employees at startups to complete surveys. Over the past 18 months, we have collected close to 300 responses from over 100 startups that have joined. The following report is of those collected responses, from four different type of employees: 1) Founders, 2) Developers, 3) Sales, and 4) Operations. Responses were collected from March 2016 through June 2017. The results are not representative of all technology startups.
