Washington, D.C. (March 28, 2013) – Today the Application Developers Alliance added ten new companies to its growing membership. Appfuel, Humetrix, Legcyte, My Apps Co., Ordr.in, Ridepost, SNOBSWAP, Sociocast, TrendPo, and the Trip Tribe joined the Alliance as corporate members. The companies include startups offering cutting-edge services across a broad spectrum of the industry.
“Our new members include app industry pioneers in the healthcare, fashion, and public services sectors, and we are thrilled to have them on board,” said Jon Potter, President of the Application Developers Alliance. “The Alliance advocates for businesses like these that demonstrate elegant solutions to common problems.”
As Alliance members, the companies will have access to a network of more than 20,000 individual developers and more than 100 companies, as well as to DevsBuild.It, the Alliance’s resource center. Members also have the opportunity to participate in events, policy advocacy, and Alliance working groups. Humetrix will be participating in the Health and Medical Alliance working group.
“As we work with developers to encourage them to take advantage of our product, we welcome the opportunity to partner with the Application Developers Alliance,” said Albert Azout, CEO of Sociocast “Developers are the ones who will be hands-on with our product, and we appreciate all the Alliance does to support their work.”
The Alliance has partnered with local accelerator Fortify.vc to offer Alliance membership to Fort companies since October of 2012. Several of the companies joining the Alliance today are members of Fort’s 2013 class.
