Thousands of job openings remain unfilled while Europe’s youth suffers from the unprecedented high rates of unemployment. Equipping Europe’s workforce and citizens with e-Skills is fundamental for success of the Digital Single Market.
Governments, industry, NGOs, academia and other key stakeholders across Europe have joined forces in the context of the eSkills for Jobs campaign 2015. The purpose of this is to push for further actions to stimulate the creation of digital jobs needed to build a strong digital single market in Europe. Together they have drawn up the Riga Declaration which will guide efforts to unlock the potential of e-Skills in fueling growth and job creation.
We are happy to be among the supporters and to participate actively in the eSkills campaign 2015 – 2016.
