EU Code Week 2015, Hundreds Of Events With One Goal: Coding, Coding, Coding


The European Code Week, which happens every year,  aims to raise awareness about the importance of digital skills in different sectors of everyday life. The 2015 edition lasted from 11th to 18th October 2015. We focused on e-Skills for small businesses, Apps and IoT, and programming for students. Have a look at our events!


eSkills for Small BusinessesOctober 14

Amjad Bashir MEP hosted our “eSkills for SMEs” event in the European Parliament. The event focussed on the challenges faced by SMEs with regard to eSkills in the workforce. Speakers included Jaka Lavstek from D.Labs, and Martin MacMillan from PollenVC!

Connected Apps IoT – October  15

Agoria and the Apps Alliance were together to explain how to develop apps for connected devices and to be in with a chance to win Lenovo products by pitching a connected app idea.

EU Coding workshop – October 16
