Europe’s Top IoT Start-ups Compete in Weekend Accelerator
Google, Ericsson and Application Developers Alliance Host IoT{Accelerate}Berlin
Friday 27 March, Berlin – More than a dozen of Europe’s best connected device start-up companies will compete in Berlin this weekend at IoT{Accelerate}. The two day program is hosted by the Application Developers Alliance, Google and Ericsson, and features experts from Intel, Ford, Vision Mobile and other industry leaders in Internet of Things technologies and products. Fifteen participating companies will compete for €30,000 in prize money and attendance at this year’s M2M World Congress in London and the Connected Conference in Paris.
“In the early days of an emerging technology it is the work done on the edges by passionate startups that very often drives innovation,” said Jake Ward, Executive Director of the App Developers Alliance. “Each of the teams chosen to compete at IOT{Accelerate}Berlin, and the dozens more that applied, represent a bright future in an exciting new industry. “

When? 27th-29th March 2015.
What? Over three days, 15 participants from Germany, Poland, France, the UK, the US and Turkey will bring their best new ideas in the fields of connected homes, connected cars, wearables, IoT for transport, Health and utilities and big data.
After two days of workshops, they will face-off in a pitch round in the hope of winning individual prizes of up to €20,000.
