Washington, D.C. (May 31, 2012) – Today, the Application Developers Alliance, the leading association representing app developers, announced that Blu Trumpet, Everbadge, Parapxl, Rocket Farm Studios, and Orro Apps have joined the Alliance as corporate partners.
“App developers are at the core of the app ecosystem, but as that ecosystem grows, it needs organized support. It’s important for the voices of developers to be heard and their interests represented along side everyone else. Blu Trumpet is proud to be standing up for developers and joining the Alliance,” said Nina Sodhi, CEO of Blu Trumpet.
The companies join dozens of other corporate partners and more than 6,000 individual developers as Alliance members.
“Our newest Alliance members are headquartered across the country and represent the broad diversity of the app industry. We look forward to serving more developers with more offerings, and we welcome our newest members’ contributions to our efforts,” said Alliance President Jon Potter.
Blu Trumpet is based in New York and is a mobile monetization and distribution platform. Everbadge, headquartered in Seattle, is a service that helps developers earn more with their apps. Parapxl is a web studio that creates websites and online applications for clients across the nation and is based in Orange County, Calif. Rocket Farm Studios partners with companies to conceive, design, and develop mobile businesses and is based in Cambridge, Mass. Orro Apps, another Boston-area member, is an iOS developing company located in Newton, Mass.
