Bright Future for the Apps Alliance

Valued Alliance Members,

Nearly four years ago Jake Ward and I founded the Application Developers Alliance to support developers and promote their remarkable work. Since our launch, I have served as President and as a member of the Board of Directors while Jake has led the industry relations and member focused activities. We have had tremendous fun working together and on your behalf, and I am proud of the progress we have made.

I am also proud that as the final step in a long process of aligning this organization to better meet your needs and build for the future, I am handing the reins of the Alliance to Jake and stepping down as President. I will continue working as an advocate on public policy issues facing our industry and as a counselor to the Alliance.

Under the leadership of the Board of Directors, this transition will be smooth and leave you in capable hands. I have every confidence that Jake and the team you have come to know and depend on will continue to build on the foundation of services, events, programming, and industry leadership to deliver increasing value for each of you and your companies.

Thank you for your continued support of the Alliance and the work we do.

Best regards,

Jon Potter
