Robert Scoble joined Rackspace in 2009 to develop Building 43, a new content and social networking website. He also studies startups and other innovative companies for Rackspace and often shares his findings with the public through his blog, Scobleizer. Before joining Rackspace, Scoble founded FastCompanyTV and served as its executive officer and video blogger. From 2006 to 2008, he was vice president for media development of PodTech.Network, Inc. Prior to that, he served at Microsoft where he pioneered blogging at the company and was instrumental in Microsoft’s Channel 9 (channel9.msdn.com), a site devoted to Microsoft’s developer community. He also produces ScobleShow, a video show where he visits the world’s best technologists, tours cool tech companies, and gets exclusive demos of the latest web sites and gadgets. Scoble serves as a member of board of advisors at Tungle Corporation. He is also the author of the now best-selling book, “Naked Conversations: How Blogs Are Changing the Way Businesses Talk With Customers.”
